LRBA YOUTH SHINE AGAIN After 4 yrs we final got rabbits added to the Livingston parish live stock show it took some work from many dedicated people but it worked out in the end. The girls still educate on the rabbit hobby and the betterment of the breeds. Hard work paid off for this LRBA youth Tabitha Laboyteaux. BIS Holland lop doe congrats. SLRBA youth activity went great what a good sight to see so many youth participate we even had pee -wee- yahoo. I want to Thank all who lent a helping hand and brought supplies so we could make sure the youth had a good time and learned something about the breeds of rabbits. Our fun event bobbing for apples went well I was amazed at how well the youth did we ran out of apples. and I let them know I would not ask them to do anything I would not do myself (How they got them apples is beyond me all i came up with was a face and nose full of water:) more exciting events to look forward to in the year to come big hug from me to all of you keep up the good work

 

 

I would like to thank the youth who participated in the pop quiz I hope you had fun and it was a learning experience. I learned something my self a lot of our youth are under the misconception that before you registrar a rabbit you must leg that rabbit I would like to clear this up for them

To registrar a rabbit the rabbit must be 6 months old and be free from any disqualifying features. You must have a full 3-generation pedigree with all the weights on them as well as your ARBA membership card and yes Nola the fee to pay the register J

Always remember most of all lets have fun with our buns
